In this edition of our journalist resource Newsletter, we take a look at two fellowship opportunities, three full-time job openings, and a look at YouTube’s new short-form video feed.

Applications are now open for the JSK fellowship at Stanford University. The paid 10-month program is designed to help eager journalists grow into leadership positions. The application deadline is January 24th for US applicants and December 6th for international applicants. Click here to learn more and apply.

The Newsroom Fellowship at the New York Times is accepting applications from young journalists and recent college graduates. The one-year work program is a unique opportunity to report for The Times (as well as other newsrooms) and receive expert mentorship. Click here to apply by the December 1st deadline.

The Reuters Institute is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in digital news. The UK-based role will be focused on advancing the team’s understanding of how journalism and news audiences are changing in the face of digital transformation. Click here to apply by the November 27th deadline.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal is hiring for two reporting roles: a Water/Enterprise General Assignment Reporter and a Breaking News/Criminal Justice Reporter. If you’re interested in reporting in Las Vegas, send a cover letter, resume, and your best work samples to cgeer@reviewjournal.com.

The Reuters Institute is hosting a webinar on November 15th on how to refocus attention on the climate crisis. The featured speaker is Dr Friederike Otto, Senior Lecturer in Climate Science at Imperial College and one of the founders of the World Weather Attribution initiative.
